What should be done with the driveway?

You have flipped a house but have you also thought about everything? As a matter of fact, the first thing the potential buyer will see is the outside of the house, and the driveway is part of it. When preparing a house for sale it is extremely important to make the driveway presentable. Because curb appeal often determines if a buyer will even enter the home that is for sale, the driveway must be in good shape.

As a potential buyer approaches the home you have for sale a driveway that requires repairs may cause the buyer to see dollar signs. Many buyers are not in a position to take on the expense of repairing or adding a driveway, so a house that needs such work could be crossed off a buyers list.

If an unattractive concrete driveway exists these can usually be stained to give a fresh look. Perhaps talking to a company that repairs and stamps concrete drives with patterns would be something to consider.

It is better not to have a driveway, then have one that does not look good or needs a lot of repairs. You have to make sure that it all looks good alone with the landscape souring the front of the house. It has to say to the perspective buyer: “Welcome Home”.
